Extreme Discipleship

Summer 09 EDP Update

The Extreme Discipleship Program 2009 was one of the best ever!

Our team this year consisted of: 1st row (L to R) John Michael Blackmon, Johnathan Stutzman, Zach Turner. 2nd Row (L to R) Billie Robinson, Priscilla Stapleton, Tiffany Hensley, Pastor Keith, Isabella and Sis. Margie Nix, Carla Hayes, Robert Lobhoy and Miranda Berry. 3rd Row (L to R) Destynie Simpson, Christian Wise, Mark Alicea, Kayla Manasco and Allan Berry.           (Top Picture)

The EDP Team was made of young adults from NC, AL and NY.  It was the most diverse group that we have had!

The team traveled with Bro. Keith and Sis. Margie Nix for 45 days during the summer.  They learned the "in's and out's" of ministry and each worked in various aspects of ministry.  They operated cameras, loaded/unloaded equipment, preached/testified and ministered through dance and drama.

Each young adult's life was changed in an awesome way!

Summer 08 Update
Supernatural, Spectacular Summer

Summer was tremendous here at KNM! The Lord really moved in awesome ways.

It began on July 5th, when we left Cleveland, TN with a dozen or so interns in tow, and others met us at our home. Our Extreme Discipleship Team 08, consisted of those pictured here: Casey Hollifield, Danielle Stapleton, Leah Faulkner, Crystal Brooks, Priscilla Rhoden, Ashley Presley, Carla Hayes, Kayla Manasco, Clarissa English, Curtis Hayes, Reed Uberman, Jenni Weaver, Briana Honeycutt, Samuel Faulkner, Michael Rhoden, & Steven Powell, and of course, Pastors Keith & Margie Nix. What a "dream team" we had this year...

Each student contributed in their own unique way, using their specific God-given gifts and talents.  Our "newcomers" this year were Casey Hollifield, Crystal Brooks, Briana Honeycutt, Jenni Weaver, & Samuel Faulkner.  Each one testified to life changing experiences and discovered new avenues of ministry throughout the 40 day program.  We ministered in over 12 different churches, 4 different states, 2 different countries, and were in right at 80 services in 40 days.  Pastor Keith is a tremendous leader and minister.  Both he and Sis. Margie easily kept up with these students and at times even ran circles around them!

Kayla Manasco, Crystal Brooks, Clarissa English (our flutist), Ashley Presley, & Briana Honeycutt led the drama; Priscilla Rhoden, Danielle Stapleton, Casey Hollifield, & Leah Faulkner were our vocalists; Curtis Hayes was our guitarist; Michael Rhoden was a vocalist and our drummer; Samuel Faulkner, Carla Hayes, Reed Uberman, Stephen Powell, & Jenni Weaver were our preachers/ministers.  But everyone operated in almost every area of ministry, from office work to sound technician, even cleaning restrooms and assisting in cooking.

Camp Youth Ablaze, held in Signal Mountain, TN, was again THE BEST EVER!  Over 400 gathered every night in the gymnasium sanctuary for Holy Ghost filled, anointed services led by tremendous men of God:  Keith Nix, Larry Nix, Mike Shreve, Freddie Stapleton, & Pat Hayes.  Our praise & worship was led by Sud Singh of Queens, NY, who led our very our Youth Ablaze band:  Michael Durham, Michael Rhoden, Curtis Hayes, Clarissa English, Danielle Stapleton, Leah Faulkner, Priscilla Rhoden, Casey Hollifield, Seth Shreve and others...  Over 100 received the Holy Ghost throughout the week, and countless rededicated their hearts to the Lord!

We also made a Global Crossing Trip this year with part of the EDP Team:  Clarissa English, Crystal Brooks, Priscilla Rhoden, Carla Hayes, Jenni Weaver, Curtis Hayes, Michael Rhoden, Kayla Manasco, & Steven Powell, (Billie Robinson assisted in leading the group).  We traveled to Trinidad, WI.  The team assisted Sis. Margie in leading the first ever Children's Crusade under a tent (and it was very successful).  Pastor Keith ministered in Pastor Nazir Muhammed's annual tent revival.  They reported having the largest crowds ever this year.  Many people were delivered from demonic spirits, healed from sicknesses and diseases, & brought into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Time or space will not permit a detailed run down of all the Lord accomplished through us this year.  And the words "awesome", "amazing", "tremendous", or anything else we could think of, would be just another understatement!
